It is said that a track walk is the cornerstone to knowing and driving a track. No matter how many laps you have driven a track there is still something to be learned from walking it. Due to the fact that while you are driving there is only so much you are able to see of the track the chances that there is more to it are great. With this option Dennis and/or John will be able to walk with you around the track and explain what they see. With this option you will be able to see all the little nuances of a track that are not easily seen from a car. You will be able to view the track at each location from various different angles to give more perspective. By doing this you will be able to see the elevation changes and camber no matter how great or small and with one of the Macchio Driver Coaching instructors have explained how this will affect the corner or more importantly how to exploit it to be faster. This is an option missing in most coaching programs due to the time consuming nature of it but it is vital for the understanding of or learning of a track. This may give you that tenth or 2 of a second that is missing. |
